I was talking to friend of mine, he is not an economist, or a politician and he holds a disliking to mathematics. Due to all these reasons, he is not very interested for my political-economical theory and graph. I know that he has a good heart, and I knew that he would cast his vote in the elections. So I wrote on a paper the following question with a box on the left to be filled with (X: Check the box if you plan to vote in the upcoming federal elections? As I predicted he filled in the box with his hand writing an X mark. Without any hesitation, I asked my friend if he knew that he just drew a graph without knowing any kind of mathematical function or even background. He realized what I had meant after I enlarged his X mark and erased the top and right borders of the box. Almost in everyday life -especially if we filled a form- we put a check mark (X). This (X), if we enlarge it we will notice that we are drawing a graph, without even knowing it. Click in the following links, if you want to know in a friendly graphical user illustration.
